Went to Mets game today - season tickets of parents' friends were up for grabs.
They lost.
9-1
But we're like a million games in front and need like 6 to clinch, plus we didn't pay for the tickets so who cares?
I got bored and started playing with the wonders of the camera phone - which will remain wonderous until I get my next bill I think...
I borrowed the labelling tricks ofPshopYoda
theyllek. Much fun!
Here you can see the rear of the field from our seats, the skyline view of Flushing, the construction site for the new stadium and all the missing chop shops. Can't see Target, but it's like two miles behind.

Opening ceremonies remembering the 5th anniversary of 9/11. The Police Dept Pipe and Drums were there, complete with kilts. Unfortunately my zoom experiments on the phone failed miserably the last time and I didn't try again. You'll have to take my word for it, or ask Teh Jerry.

Towards the end of the game, the Mets attempt a rally! David Wright is on third! C'mon boys, we're only down by 8 runs! You can do it... damn.
