I was watching a series two episode of Wire in the Blood last night, and this annoying bald guy was insisting that MI5 should take over the investigation.

I kept waiting for Carol to say "But I AM MI5!"

Had a very productive day today :) Saw 7 patients, though did not finish in time to haul self into Manhattan for writer's group so instead went to Panera where I managed 1067 words, three glasses of iced tea and three trips to oma, etc. Fortunately Chuck is too big to steal :P. I used my usual magic trick for jumpstarting writing, started a new story. *headdesk* It's a disease.

Went for a five mile run, will give myself another week before I add on mile six. Cut and coloured hair, tho it didn't come out quite as light as I was planning, it's just a shade darker than [livejournal.com profile] shippygem's.

Spent the evening thus far vegging. I now have only one unwatched episode of Spooks left *sads*. So I will save it for tomorrow, and read book club book. I have about 100 pages to go, and am loving it.

For those who had read "Fool" already, and also watched BSG last week and this week:

very slight spoiler )

If no one else shows up to watch the BSG premiere with me, poor [livejournal.com profile] emosweet is going to have to put up with my running commentary.

Take pity on her!!

Swiped from [livejournal.com profile] majorsamfan. And yes, I am supposed to be doing paperwork, why do you ask?

Empire Magazine has revealed its list of the "50 Greatest TV Shows"ever. So, of course, LJ-ers leaped upon the opportunity and made it into a meme.

1. Bold the shows you've watched every episode of
2. Italic the shows you've seen at least one episode of
3. Post your answers

For the next two hours at any rate.

Saw 8 patients, went to gym, and made dinner - falafel (from a mix, but [livejournal.com profile] emosweet should still be proud).

Finished all my paperwork while watching "Waking the Dead" on BBC America.

*facepalm*

It has 6 seasons!! Why do I keep getting myself hooked on long running non-American crime shows?? I've already got 7 seasons of Da Vinci to watch this summer, and now I want all of these. Only see season 6 on torrents, but it's a start...

Guess it's a good thing I'm getting Chuck, and I have the new DVD player - lol. Summer is going to be spent on the beach and on the couch.

So apparently, every time it rains heavily, my phone goes out. This is the third time this spring, tho Friday evening when it happened the dial tone came back all by itself just in time for a telemarketer from Arizona to call us.

Today I get home, no dial tone. But for some strange reason, the dsl works. Go figure. Now there is a good side and bad side to this.

good side: telemarketers cannot call
bad side: work tablet has dialup modem, cannot upload work and download case w/ the overdue recert OASIS my manager needs me to do tonite. *waits while all eyes but those of [livejournal.com profile] arrenall glaze over.*

So - was able to submit repair request to the Dark Side of the Force Verizon, but they gave me appt for Saturday morning. Plus I'm working this weekend, and I absolutely refuse to drive all the way to the office to use the wireless there on a holiday! Twice a day for that matter, b/c that's how often they want us to communicate. *cries* If only they would give us outside wireless, I could do it at Starbucks. heck, I'd buy a wireless router.

Ronon will be waiting for the repair tech. And he will be told the repair tech is a humanform wraith, if repair is not done. *nods*

Oh and add this to this morning's parking ticket b/c my muni-meter receipt flipped over when I shut the door. I think Ronon will be sitting in the car while I make my visits tomorrow too...

Now onto happier things - last nite finally watched Friday's episode of Psych which has been languishing on TehTivo all week.

Guess who was on? (no real spoilers here, not that I think anyone else watches this)

Radek!

Steph: "OMG that's Radek!"
TehJerry: "Who?"
Steph: "Dr Zelenka! From SGA!"
Teh Jerry: *rolls eyes*

David was using his 'real' accent as well :) He was the harried MC at a scifi/comic con :)) It struck me even funnier b/c I saw him at his first con last fall in England. And he was a nervous wreck then - looks like he was able to draw on the experience!
