Today they assigned my 5 patients not my own, which was a nice break. No admission so I was finished by 1. Drove out to the island and had lunch at Panera - tomato soup that I totally got hooked on during nano. Then I did a little damage at EMS.

Came home, made tea, did a little more damage on Title Nine, but pics of that will have to wait till delivery. Now I'm all ready for my trip, and The Year of No Clothes Shopping is officially over! I'm going to make a longer post on my other blog about that. Did a little laundry and now am settling in to watch the second half of SpooksFest 2008-2009, and eat pumpkin spice french toast :)

Also need to get started with my writing for

getyourwordsout, but I promise not to spam with word counts more than once a week!

Copied from my post on the NanoWrimo site, my Big Fun Scary Goals for 2008:

1. Fill in the Grand Canyon of Plot, and finish my nano novel.
2. Complete a triathlon for Team in Training.
3. Learn to use my new sewing machine, and make something I can wear outside the house.
4. Play the tin whistle in an outside the classroom setting.
5. Pick a church and stick with it.
6. Marry Richard Armitage. (oops, how did that one get in there??)

Aside from those, today marks day one of my Year of No Clothes Shopping.

And also day one of Fic Frenzy, and I have a Robin Hood Fic bunny trying to eat its way out of my brain. 3.5 hours left to write today, so you know where I'll be :D

The Good:

1. Have decided to do the No Clothes for a Year thing, starting in January which gives me plenty time to research and plan.

2. Finished a fic ON TIME. Yeah, I know!! Have joined

ficfrenzy in hopes of finishing more.

The Bad:

Evil evil Ork mainframe discovered Chippy the flash drive and disabled his driver.
The really really bad thing is Friday I got a taste of what it's like to have a laptop to write on and now I really really really really want one. *sigh* Now I'm going to sit in the coffee shop between dance classes tonite with my book, wishing I had a lappy...

But on the bright side, its a gorgeous day if you ignore the pollen *sneezes*, finished Ork early, and will dance dance dance all nite and all day Sat :)
And did I mention I finished a fic?
