Fic frenzy day 9

Word count: 464. stopped a wee bit short of 500 b/c I know exactly what I want to happen next, and that will give me a good jumping off place for tomorrow.
Fic completed: we're still on the home stretch for "Prophet of Troy" Might be in extra innings at this point, but even those don't go on forever.

Watched two eps of Hex but read instead of typing during commercials. My Amazon order came today :)
Note to self: do not buy any books in November. Better make that mid-October.

After Ork cleaned entire apt, except was unable to dispose of waterbug I killed this am, b/c he went behind the stove to die. Floors are shiny tho, and we have scented candles in fruit flavors from Target.

Made a long post on my other blog about the books I bought and am reading now.

Someone needs to take BBC America away from me. And my tivo. How can I make my way through my huge pile of DVDs, when I keep finding and recording new shows?

Anyway, that's it for me tonite. Chuck is asleep, and it's back to my book!

I love BBC America. I have the same problem with DVR - keep recording new stuff before I can manage to watch all the old or all the new DVDs I buy. I love mystery/suspense, and BBC America shows some of that. I haven't really watched Hex (caught a few minutes of one epi months ago). Are you a huge fan?

Was the "do not buy books in November/mid October" due to plans for NaNoWriMo? Do you have any helpful hints about NaNo? I tried it last year, but I didn't get very far!
