As of Wednesday I am officially on a new team at work. Same area, same patients, mind you, but different manager. One who might *possibly* be actually organized! This of course remains to be seen, but so far so good.
The day before I switched (oh yeah and I was informed about the switch that day...) I get a call from Eileen in the early AM w/ a real serious tone asking me if I read my company email. I think oh FRELL my 'boyfriend' (most horrible patient who was discharged while I was on vacation) is coming back. Then she tells me my soon to be former manager is leaving. My first thought was whew, no boyfriend. Then I felt bad. She's a nice person, just not a good manager. I hope she finds a job that she likes and is good at...
