Bought train tickets to Geneva this am - 9 hour ride with a change at Zurich - I think I will be getting lots of reading and writing done. *ponders how many books she can cram into her backpack*

Rainy day (what a shock - I think Ireland has more son - lol) So we did indoor stuff that was on our pass, like Mozarts residence (yes succombed and bought the candy - I coulndt take the pressure!! *g*). Very nice tour with lots of music tho I think I embarrassed Janie by mock dancing when I heard waltz of vienna (the tune is used in an irish barn dance called 'shoe(not shoot) the donkey'

We looked at lots of nice paintings at the Residenz gallery, I wanted to take some of those lanscapes home. They didnt have prints or calendar in the shop so I bought some postcards of what I liked. Then we went walking, found the abbey from Sound of Music, ended up walking around the whole mountain too because distances are much shorter than what they look like on the map :) At this rate we will really be ready for our swiss hike (esp as we climbed to the fortress yest instead of taking the funicular, and then walked across the top of the mountain to the museum of modern art. Of course these "mountains" are bumps compared to the alps we can see in the distance.

Crazy black sheep (purchased yesterday along with sheep socks that will look great with my step shoes) has done a very good job of carrying my change.

Now I have a craving for chinese food so we'll see where we end up tonite, and also what's on TV. OOOOOOOOOOOOOO - we saw TWO eps of Atlantis last nite in German!! The Eye, and The Defiant One. Shep sounds like a nazi general, but Rodney seems about right. There was lots of 'Schnell!' being shouted.

Dunno if will have net in switzerland, we shall see...
