Sitting at the gate at JFK - no free wifi that I can find, so am queuing this for later. And practicing my queuing, which is so much more fun that just getting on line.
So far trip has been fine and flight is not delayed, after that "snowstorm" last nite. *heavy eyeroll* The snow last nite made that "storm" that J and I encountered in London last year seem like a true blizzard.
The souls of my boots and wheels of my suitcase are absolutely covered in salt, so no one can say that the LIRR was not prepared for the worst.
Had a huge quesadilla at the restaurant after checkin to ensure that 1. I got that cheese craving I've had for three days out of the way, and 2. I won't be hungry for the plane food. Can just take non-performance enhancing drugs and sleep. Maybe.
Plan is after landing to take train into London, have a quick coffee and catch-up with my cousin, and then get the train up to York.
Call forwarding works to my rental cell, but seems as tho text messages don't get through. Orbitz was supposed to text me my flight status 3 hours before, and with 45 min to go, no text. So if anyone is planning on texting me, poke me for the UK number. And now I am boarding soon so, off I go :)
