Vacation!!

Finished with my last patient at 2:30, called the office to say I'm leaving the field. The girl who answered said "I hope your day was better than ours is here!"

Me: "Crazy?"
Her: "oh yeah"
Me: "guess i shouldn't tell you that as soon as I finish my paperwork I'm officially on vacation..."
Her: "I hope you're going somewhere far far away from VNS land!"
Me: "yup, I'll talk to you in a couple weeks!"

And off went the phone ;))

Per the internet Yllek's plane was early so I headed to the airport around six. After walking back and forth between two terminals a few times as they kept switching the location where the supposed landed plane was, and a brief interlude at Starbucks finally got confirmation that the plane was back at the terminal where I started. They had been sitting on the runway for an hour after landing, and were just finally getting off the plane. It took over another hour for the geniuses to figure out how to take the luggage off the plane, and put it on the belt, so we ended up leaving the airport at close to 9. Welcome to NY :)

So now we are sitting watching Ocean's Thirteen, after consuming much chinese food, and planning invasion of manhattan for tomorrow.
