This morning after breakfast we walked down the street to the House of Terror - a museum commemorating the nazi and soviet occupations, in the building where both headquarters were housed. Not exactly a cheerful place, but important in that such things need to be remembered so as to not happen again. Then we split up for the afternoon, Aniko and Yllek headed off to the fun park, and Vicky and I went to the baths with Aniko's friend Eszter.
Getting into the bath was a bit like getting off the runway at JFK, but once we got in:
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Ginormous outdoor swimming pool, outdoor mineral baths, and huge pool with jacuzzi jets and a circle of current that you could ride around on. The weather was absolutely perfect too, and it was much fun. I did 22 serious laps in the big pool. which I think was prob 50 meters as it seemed at least twice as long as the one at the gym. Then the rest of the time - played. We stayed pretty much until they were kicking us out of the locker room (where vicky and shared a "cabin" for changing) for closing. And now we are back at the hotel waiting for the others to come back so we can go get dinner. so - more later, and pictures. No swimsuit pics, sorry ;)
