BUT had read through new fic to work on, in which I'd written in bits and pieces that need to be connected, as I went straight to the whump. Ahem. Outlined some of those bits, and had fun making new pages and folders in page 4 w/ Chuck while watching SG1 marathon. I am *never* going to catch up with the tivo and dvds.

Also booked a plane ticket to Kansas City, got the book for philippacrawfor, again, b/c Amazon refunded me with profuse apologies from the seller that the book had already been sold elsewhere. *rolls eyes* Yeah, FORCE me to go on Amazon again!

Uploaded some music, poke me for link if I did not email it to you don't want mesh to shoot me

Last but not least, found the perfect present for wedding 2.5 which would so serve them right for putting like three things on the registry.

Fic completed: SG1 "Prophet of Troy" - done, finished finito! Total word count 20846, and only took three years *g*.

Yes I know it's only 0140 hours of day 16, but as first fic is finished, I am giving myself permission to take a book and go to the beach if I wake up during daylight hours.

In other news, a co-worker broke his arm, so I will be covering a large portion of his caseload for an undetermined amount of time. Which means $$, but also that whole chicken with head cut off deal.

Also, my dance teacher had a recital for her kids tonite, and I helped with the queuing, shhing and squishing ( am good at that, right sgcgategirl?) and tying of soft shoes. It went really well, the one teenager who's in my class was amazing in her solos. I forgot my camera :( But just pop in a DVD of Riverdance and you get the idea.

Holy crap it's 2AM....

Fic completed: working on the closing scene of "Prophet of Troy" *bounces* which means I'm going to need to pick another WIP to take to the beach Sat.

But I did, see 8 patients, work out, grocery shop, crash out for a couple hours *blushes*, and now will go read book and watch the Mets crush the Dodgers game.

Word count: 464. stopped a wee bit short of 500 b/c I know exactly what I want to happen next, and that will give me a good jumping off place for tomorrow.
Fic completed: we're still on the home stretch for "Prophet of Troy" Might be in extra innings at this point, but even those don't go on forever.

Watched two eps of Hex but read instead of typing during commercials. My Amazon order came today :)
Note to self: do not buy any books in November. Better make that mid-October.

After Ork cleaned entire apt, except was unable to dispose of waterbug I killed this am, b/c he went behind the stove to die. Floors are shiny tho, and we have scented candles in fruit flavors from Target.

Made a long post on my other blog about the books I bought and am reading now.

Someone needs to take BBC America away from me. And my tivo. How can I make my way through my huge pile of DVDs, when I keep finding and recording new shows?

Anyway, that's it for me tonite. Chuck is asleep, and it's back to my book!
