There was no wifi again this afternoon at Cosi, which worked out actually for the better for several of us. Two people reached 50K!! *waves at fshk and blows noisemaker*

I didn't get quite that far, but I am happy with my total today of:

Have decided to skip ahead to some important scenes, and possibly the ending, so I don't reach 50 without having an actual story structure. This also means I get to write the whumpage *bounces*. Tho probably not too much more tonite as Ork tomorrow *sigh*

I wish I could take the whole month of November off, but I need to pay for my two overseas trips next year, plus going to need a new car in the Spring as LGM is on his last legs. So, yeah. Ork.

Maybe just a few minutes longer.

Am sooooooooooooooooo close to the halfway point I can touch it! *bounces*

My minor character serving girl has become a diva and wants a bigger part, my hermit monk is threatening to start the Protestant Reformation three hundred years early (and also might possibly be emergent), and tomorrow I really really need to write a fight scene and figure out where swords and bows and arrows go, but otherwise things are going swimmingly :)

The dashboard one that I really like doesn't seem to want to update my count, so let's see how this one is that I got from the nano site:

Random thoughts for the day:

I shall not weigh myself until december 1st.

Although having lived approximately 800 years before baseball, I am becoming increasingly convinced that the Sheriff of Nottingham was a Yankee fan. Gizzie is apparently still on the fence.

Had big plans to come home and do grocery shopping and laundry after work and then settle down to watch Flash and Lantis and write. Instead slept for two hours. *headesk*
Did watch Flash and Lantis (twice) and made a wee bit of progress:



Tomorrow is Ork and then a housewarming party, but there is a write in on Sunday :)

Today's stellar moments include:

realizing I plugged the ethernet cable into the wrong port, after harassing theyllek and a call to tech support to figure out why Allan was getting net and not Chuck.

ETA: the very nice and efficient Linksys people could teach Verizon many lessons.

registering for AIM so could do a nanosprint, only to find them done. No worries there tho - I now have AIM in pidgin and am good to go for next time. I'm AlasseFae for anyone who is there and not on yahell.

But, despite jetlag, two days blurring into one, and 3 dance classes as well the above issues:

I've now got a beginning and and end to my nanowrimo story. Just need that pesky middle. Wednesday nite meetups have been announced at this cute little tea shop. I can't wait!

And let's go Red Sox! Oy it's still only the top of the first. I am *never* going to stay awake for this game.
