Wind. Much wind. Rain. Did I mention the wind?

A tree came down around the corner last nite, pulling up the sidewalk with it. Fortunately, the opposite corner from where my car was parked. And as I was off to Ork when I saw it, I didn't have camera, and it was gone when I got home so no pics. But I do have some other pic spams for you. :)

Inspired by koalathebear's post about miso soup the other day, I've been craving Japanese, so stopped into the place next to the gym and got some on the way home. Pics duly taken :) Yes, I did go into the gym first. Blech. Crowded, steamy and smelly. *Hate* the gym when it's steamy which is pretty much all the time. And crowded = only 30 min on treadmill, tho was planning to go easy today anyway after my little incident Wed. Happily my knees are fine except for a nice little purple and green bruise inside the right one. Maybe I'll take a picture of that too...

Tonite the clocks go back, and TehJerry must have been running around changing them before he went to work, b/c when I got home half of them said 4:30 and the other half said 3:30. Very confusing. Though an extra hour of sleep will be much welcomed, as in a moment of weakness I agreed to man the Mississippi table at the missions conference tomorrow.



My sushi, and my miso soup. Tho you can't see the floating bits of tofu b/c they refused to float. They must be witches :D or not.






For blackett who wanted to see me and my giant coffee mugs - sorry I couldn't figure out how to get me in it so I put the pot there for perspective. Oh and btw, last nite at book club I had Czech beer :) Was great! When are we going to Prague?



And for arrenall, who wanted to see what had become of LambChop, who was her b-day pressie to me, here he is comforting his brokenhearted friend.





And now wind has picked up again and I think if I stepped outside I would end up in Kansas or something. So theyllek please put some cushions on the roof

Lee is looking less like Beau Bridges, so this is a good thing as I am less apt to burst out laughing during a deep emotional scene involving him. Weight gain is one thing, but those chipmunk cheeks were just too much.

Kara annoyed me. I get all the post trauma and stuff, but Sam is just too cute to treat like that. Color me shallow...

I have rediscovered my love for Chief!

I know there are many Roslin/Adama shippers out there, but last nite especially I saw way many more sparks between her and Zarek. Especially toward the end, when he had that "well played, *again*" expression on his face.

My congrats and relief that the tree did not fall *on* the car...and thankful that I got rid of my jinxed car...

I agree -- Kara was waaaay annoying and shouldn't have ditched Sam.
