Friday night was book club, which was much fun and food as always. When I got home I left the tivo to grab BSG because...
Sat got up at 0530 and got self and bike into Manhattan for group brick. Have got the bike/jumper one thing down to a science, now just need to pay less than $46 for parking. *headdesk* Did some research last nite on cheaper parking garages so have a semblance of a plan for the next Sat I am off and can make practice. Otherwise, practice went v. well, the camelback continues to rock, and legs are only a wee bit sore today. Came home, washed gear, washed sheets, did one bag of winter/spring wardrobe swapping (so of course it's now cold again today), and various chores until TehJerry went to work, then crashed for about four hours. Then ate dinner, watched BSG (wow!!!), Torchwood (wow again!!) and Blood Ties. No one around to chat so read for a bit before going back to bed.
Today I slept in till 8:30 *g*, drove upstate for the Mid Atlantic Fleadh. GoogleMaps said it would take over an hour. I got there in thirty minutes. My nemesis, the George Washington Bridge was EMPTY, people! So I was v. early for my job - was supposed to help in the kitchen from 10-12. Ended up staying till the bitter end of 5:30 pm (I was having fun, actually), and then watching the end of the ceili band competition - the older kids and the adults. Some fabulous music, too bad no dancing! We kitchen people divided up the "spoils" as well, I came home with a loaf of soda bread, a bag of bagels, and a bowl of leftover mash that I made into pancakes for dinner. I've got breakfast sorted for the next month.
I should go to bed soon, as tomorrow is another one of those mornings where I need to be in 5 places at once before 11.
